As a designer or producer one is always looking for new product alternatives that can hold a candle to the traditional hook and eye tape. However, the search is mostly difficult because there are many variants of the hook and eye tape such as inside-out, but there are hardly any new alternatives.
For this reason, our research and development team has decided to bring a complete product line, which consists of innovative eye-hook tapes, to the market. We would like to introduce this product line, the "Fildan's Fantastic Four", to you in this and the three following blog posts.
The first in the group is our Butterfly hook and eye tape. You are probably wondering where this name came from or how it came about. Our Butterfly clasp is overlooked by many small plastic butterflies, which act as hooks. These were decisive for the naming of the product during the development process. The microfiber closure is strong, but also very light - just like a butterfly. At 4.5mm, it is 20-30% thinner than a conventional hook and eye tape. It is seamless, has round corners and is therefore very comfortable to wear.
Personalize? Yes, that is also possible! We do work with customer fabrics and produce the plastic parts in the desired colors. Of course, it is just as important that the closure is easy to work with. For this reason, the article is equipped with flaps, which allow easy sewing.
